Our Weather.....

The above photos were taken 4/30/2011 .
The lightpost in the lake in these pictures, is the same lightpost that's shown standing amid the signs in the pictures below.....  funny how that yellow sign predicted it:  WATER LEVELS MAY VARY!
I'd say they Varied, alright!  The signs are covered-up!
The above pictures were taken 4/26/2011- at Cranfield Recreation Area on Lake Norfork, at Mountain Home, Arkansas.
We're looking forward to the season starting & the fear of the lake being 'low' is no longer a fear!
The rain had JUST stopped at the time we took these pictures.
If you know the area well, you'll recognize the boat ramp and fishing dock are both now located close to the pavillion & playground area, as well as the Gov. Campground road being under water...
We'll keep you posted.  You can watch our weather at the top of this page.... at present, it's showering again... they ARE calling for sunshine tomorrow and Friday before the rain returns...
It's been 'slow-going', but, we're beginning to see signs of progress from our efforts.... as well as seeing others who want to see the sunshine begin, signaling summer on it's way.
We've gone around bolders; wrapped the trees in plastic pipe to protect the 'future shade' from the deer; we've recently seen the water company & electric company come get their parts up and going; we've gotten all the wall framing done in the laundry/shower house, have gotten most of the electrical wiring done & have begun to finish the interior.
The plumber comes today (Friday 3/4) to rough-in the plumbing within the walls of the laundry/shower house.
This coming week we'll be putting-in lines to sites starting with electric liines! We're hoping to get an actual road put in this coming week, also.
Signs of progress.  (Please forgive the pictures taken with the really bad telephone camera....)
also, these are out of order.... I missed putting the concrete pouring/staining in before the building pictures...
